Alpine marsh

One of my favorite sights in spring is the "marsh marigold" Caltha leptosepala.
Quick to bloom when the snow melts and the meadows are marshy.
It will soon be gone.

  2. Those are so pretty. What an unusual habitat for such a fragile looking flower.

  8. Lovely wildflower - looks very much the same as one of the flowers blooming in Norway during spring, except from the leaves. Lovely shots!

    Thanks for stopping by!
