Shadows at the Fountains

The farmer's market at Whole Foods is in a rather fancy shopping center. I brought my camera since it is "The Fountains" and I thought I would get some watery shots along with my local produce and meat.
The shadows were as good as the water shots.
They had some very interesting benches.

And since it is the Fountains I caught some wet shadows as well.

To see more shadows go to Hey Harriet.

  2. The shadows of these metallic butterflies are wonderful, The shapes leave nice shadows, the shapes of imagination. The shadows fall so nicely on the textured sidewalk, the light being altered a bit to make complexity of the wings even better. all nice!

  5. Hi Martha, I visited the Monarch Sanctuary at Pacific Grove a couple years ago - they had a bench just like the ones you "shadowed." Love the water droplet shadows, too.

  22. Love the artistic curves of the butterfly shadows.

P.S. If I did not drive to Big Bear that day (Dia de los Muertos 10-24) I would have gone to the festival. I have seen a lot of beautiful pictures in flickr.. It was open until 11pm, I still could have made it. When I got there in the morning, only big items were left and all graveside decors were gone. It would have been an experience for me, until next yeart.
