Three beautiful captures Martha, thank you so much for stopping by... Tom I've got 3 Sky Watch posts up this week... take your pick if you have time Wiggers World
Beautiful point! I am so glad you included the information sign. I do wish I could have read all of the right side tho . . . I have found that if I get the whole sign in my shot, it will enlarge on computer for anyone to read that wants to.
We will head to our home-away-from-home soon, I hope. Hubby is having some dental problems but winter is coming and the cabin must be winterized, soon. Water system will shut down at the end of next week and the lack of water would complicate the shut down process.
Gorgeous skies! And the clouds are so lacy and almost decorative. I've had Yosemite on my mind for days since watching Ken Burns' --and learning about John Muir. Thanks for sharing!
Well OF COURSE you're going to get great sky photos; you're so much closer up there. ;-)
Thanks for the tips about cloud photos. Yours are outstanding!! I'm working with a point & shoot, but I also use a polarizing filter. "Midtone contrasts?" I may need to look into Elements.
Beautiful skies. I watched about half of PBS's 12-hour documentary, "National Parks: America's Best Idea." I thought of you every time they featured Yosemite.
These are all awesome captures. Love this Yosemite scenery against those fabulous skies. Thanks for posting about my relatives.
