Tuolumne Meadows Skywatch

Last week I showed you the sky at Olmsted Point.
Beyond Olmested Point on the Tioga Road is Tuolumne Meadows. Here the sky, incredibly blue, was still painted with high thin clouds. We parked at Lembert Dome so Hubby could take a nap. I walked down a short easy path to see the river.
The sky was reflected in the placid river.

  10. Hi Martha, In the first, the clouds look like an arrow pointing to the dome. The reflected clouds in the second are wonderful. Looks like a great day for a walk!

  11. Yum! These are good enough for Ken Burns to pick up. Of course I got homesick when watching his series on the National Parks, but these shots are almost like being there.
