Cloudy days give me an excuse to use this shot from my archives. It was taken in 2007 when I knew nothing of blogging or memes. We went on an Elderhostel (now Exploritas) trip to New Zealand and I was intrigued by the shadows in this exhibit in an Auckland Museum.
I've lots of photos from this trip and I'm sure they will put in future appearances when I have nothing current.
For more interesting shadows visit Tracy at Hey Harriet.
And, you took great photos even before you knew about blogging and memes! This is a great shot! Fascinating and very busy shadows...
ReplyDeleteThe birds above leave wonderful shadows. The lighting gives us a better perspective on the avians in flight, their wingspans stand out well, and we get a better view from the lift (that comes from underneath the wings. A great capture. Happy new Year!
ReplyDeleteWith a lil help of some lights, it creates what we're looking for. The shot you share is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best of 2010.
Fascinating to see bird shadows on a ceiling. Beautiful image, wouldn't mind seeing more New Zealand pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect shot from your archives. Wonderful display. LOTS of sunshine where I live, so I’ve shared A Mosaic of Neighborhood Shadows at Sacred Ruminations and ‘Critter Shadows’ at Small Reflections.
