Some dove right off.
The bungees are matched to the weight of the jumper so they just hit the water, at least that's the theory.
They bounce a few times.
Then they climb down a pole into the waiting boat.
Some were more reluctant. We weren't sure this girl was going to do it.
She did though and once launched see seemed to enjoy herself.
It looks like she is smiling.
Although some pixels are blown, I like this shot.None of our group of senior citizens gave it a try. Actually, I don't think our minders would have allowed us, but it was fun to watch.

Oh wow, those are great action shots Martha. No way would I be able to do that but I admire those who can.

These are amazing shots! It does look like lots of fun, but I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to try it. Maybe if you pushed me off the platform.:)

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in New Zealand years ago I saw them bungee jump from this bridge except it was winter there and the water was freezing. These pictures are amazing though, capturing the moments as they happened.

ReplyDeleteWe took our son and his friend to Canada for hisw seventeenth birth so they could bungee jump. The friend jumped right away. Our son teetered on the edge, and I thought, Oh, he can't do it. But then he did. When we were able to talk to him, he said it was wonderful, the most freeing thing he had even done.
