Cotton Ball Sky

Some cotton balls appeared in our usually gray skies a few days ago.
And some leaves on the birch tree.
Wait! Those aren't leaves, they're birds waiting their turn to attack the feeder.
See more beautiful skies at Sky Watch Friday, hosted for us by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia.

  15. I captured some cotton ball clouds this past summer with my camera! I was beginning to think you needed new glasses as I could see the birds. . . lol I had to re-read that about the leaves in selective places. . . lol

  18. Those cotton balls are larger than what I have! the birds are really camouflaged as leaves. Great patience taking the photos.

P.S. We have storm watch tonight with winds at 30 mph.

My feeder's been quiet these days... Wonder what's up? I hope nothing "big" spoofed them!

  24. As you well know, I'm a sucker for trees-against-the-sky shots. These are great. The birds look like the cedar waxwings that were gathered in the trees around here the other day. In winter they like to flock together and poop all over your lawn furniture. Have a great weekend, Martha.
