Martha -- you alread know how much we love Joshua Tree and this desert area in CA. Beautiful pictures; thanks for sharing. I was sad that we didn't get to see the desert bloom this time through; the ocotillia looks like it is about to burst out any minute.

Those deep blue skies almost make me homesick. Must have had some rain for the ocotillo to bloom. Love Joshua Tree and Anza-Berego.
