What's this, an impressionist's painting of Half Dome?
It's backwards!
No, it is Half Dome reflected in Mirror Lake.We had a wonderful time in Yosemite this week and all of my shots are of incredibly blue skies and raging water. It was Yosemite at its absolute best, I wish you could have been with us.

ReplyDeleteAmazing photography !
ReplyDeleteMy mother climbed it (of which I only have her word--no pictures, but if it weren't for her lifelong total truthfullness, I would never have thought it.) I do have pictures Dad took of Mirror Lake from 1928. He did not know Mother yet. You are trying to entice me.
ReplyDeleteFabulous. My favourite reflection shot this week!
ReplyDeleteI envy you. The photo is beautiful both ways. I would love to take pictures there.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been there in way too long. Great shots and glad you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteOh I miss Yosemite! Thank you for posting this wonderful and clever reflection, it is indeed hard to discern it at first!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see Half Dome or any other photo of this amazing place, I think of Ansel Adams and his lifetime achievents and revolutionary works.
