Our first day in Alaska the sky was overcast, just as it was for most of our trip. We had one and one half days of sun, but that was enough.
You can find more skies from around the world at Skywatch Friday, hosted for us by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia.

ReplyDeleteWhat an outstanding header shot, Martha! And your gray Alaska shot has a beauty if its own. This state has been on my bucket list... some day.
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe. The glacier view from the Lodge just blows me away! Those low clouds on the mountains under gray skies works, in an almost fantasy type of way.

ReplyDeleteMysterious and eerie, yet so beautiful and serene! Great capture!
ReplyDeleteAlmost in gray scale--which is one of the things that makes this kind of shot so attractive. In this heat it's just the thing to cool off the psyche.
