Ere of Christmas

We enjoyed blue skies in Southern California for Christmas weekend. We are now back to wet and gray.  Good weather or bad, I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season.
See more skies from around the world at SkyWatch Friday, hosted for us by Klaus, Sandy, Wren and Sylvia.

  1. From the news it looks like mudville in certain parts of California. Here it has been overcast and dry.

  2. So glad you had such a fun, sunny Christmas! Actually, here in Seattle they're predicting an entire week of gorgeous, blue, sunny skies! And they are right now, but for a whole week????? I'll believe it when I see it, but you can be sure I'll enjoy whatever we do get!! I do wish you, sun or not, a very Happy, Wonderful New Year, Martha! Hugs to Michael as always!

  3. What a beautiful star against those blue skies. We had a clear and warmish Christmas day. Heavy rain yesterday and maybe some snow when we return to Yarnell.

  7. This is such an interesting photo, Martha. Is that a billboard to the side of the tree? I can see part of a tall building - very interesting. Where were you standing when you took it? (Sorry for all the questions!)

  8. It's all blue today, albeit a little nippy - high at 52 around here.

The rain returns tomorrow, mr weatherman said.

  11. We've had a lot of cloudy days, too, but the sun has come out for awhile some of the days. It got up to 59 today, then in less than 5 hours, it got down to 29. We may be getting ice and snow the next 24 hours.

I love this photo! I wonder how much that star weighs.

Thanks for your comment on my SkyWatch post. Happy New Year!

  19. Very pretty. But I can't imagine a wet Christmas or New Years, that would be almost unheard of in my part of the country!
