Storm Watch

My backyard has a great view for storm watching and last evening there was a lot to watch.  We didn't see any tornadoes but two were spotted in the valley west and north of us.
See more views of the sky at SkyWatch Friday, hosted for us by Klaus, Sandy, Wren and Sylvia.

Scary looking skies and the storm season has been so deadly and LONG this year! Hope they stay out of your immediate area, Martha! Your capture is stunning as always! Enjoy your day, stay safe!

Wow! That's really scary looking. I love the drama in it, though, as long as it doesn't get too wild and dangerous. We've been having some great skies here too but I haven't been able to get out to photograph them.

Your sky is magnificent just as long you just get to watch and not actually have any tornados.

our weather has been crazy, but that made our skies dramatic, like this one.

Holy Smokes! We saw nothing but blue skies when we were up in Wheatland a couple of weeks ago. We would have loved to have experienced rain of any sort.

Amazing photo, Martha.

Wow, Martha, what a sky! And imagine tornados that close to you! There have been some in Alberta in other years, but I've never seen anything bigger than a dust devil swirling tumbleweed down the road.
Fabulous shot!

An astonishing shot...I just love stormy skies! This photo reminds me of a post I did a while ago of storm-filled skies in Utah. Nature really puts on a show for us, doesn't it?

Wow, something is certainly about to happen with clouds like those in the sky. We too have had some extremely severe, stormy weather. It just comes with the Spring. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)
