I love to go out with my camera as a storm is clearing. The sky is clear and blue, filled with decorator clouds, so beautiful even the best photograph doesn't do it justice.
I love your term 'decorator clouds' and I know just what you mean about not being able to completely capture the beauty (although you do a marvelous job)...part of it is that the air always smells so beautiful and fresh right after a storm.

Don't think my first comment went through. The sky looks so fresh and clean. Did you get the cabin winterized before the snowstorm in the Sierras?
