It is always a mistake to assume that everybody in any area thinks alike. But we all do it! And it takes more bravery to demonstrate there where these people are than it would to hold the same signs somewhere liberal like (say) Eugene Oregon! (And yet there are a few conservative people here too.) (I am wishing I was somewhere where I could vote in person instead of absentee which doesn't feel as involved.)
