Reflection at Morro Bay

No time to frame this shot as the killdeer took off at my approach.  I like the color reflected in the water and the quality of the light at the end of the day.  I just wish I had been able to frame it better.

sometimes the best shots are taken so quickly : everything is in the reaction of the photographer. Well done on this one : the colors are gorgeous !

Lovely -- your reaction time is great; I would love to be able to get a good flight shot like that and wouldn't care a fig if it wasn't framed perfectly! The red reflection is excellent!

Most enjoyable shot...and I wouldn't worry about framing when it's a one in a million capture!

Nice catch! We were in Morro Bay, second week of Jan, but did not stay long enough to go birding!

It is such a gorgeous shot anyway!! It would have been awesome if the kildeer had waited for his cue, so you could get the image framed better!!
