Back to Virginia Lakes

It's too hot here in the Sacramento area, and the air is full of smoke. Neither is condusive to exercise so it is time to return to the cabin. I hope when we get back next week it will be cooler and the fires will be done. There is the possibility of thunderstorms in the mountains so maybe some nice "decorator clouds" for photography.

Have a good time. I'm afraid we'll have to just wait for cooler weather here in Tulsa.

Hi Martha - thought you were at the cabin. Can't keep your comings and goings straight! Have a cool time and enjoy end of summer there.

You are very lucky that you can "escape" to the cabin. I am seriously thinking about a trip to the ocean. It was cooler yesterday with only 97!!!!!! But at least thee is NO rain in the forecast and that makes me happy -- if it rained every night while I was sleeping I wouldn't care but it sure puts a damper on walking.

Sorry about the heat and the smoky conditions. Glad you have a 'retreat' to escape ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Late august seems like cabin time to me. Fortunately we are cooling down here in Seattle and the back yard makes a great retreat.
