Those are terrific shadow shots, Martha! I particularly like the hanging lantern/lamp and the window shadows! You're right, as long as we have sun, we'll have shadows, it's just that in the northwest during the fall, the sun is elusive to say the least!

Have a great weekend!

Interesting shots of what reminds me of the Old West- or what I imagine it to look like. Never been in your part of the country!.
I like the one with the lace curtain in the window.

Thanks for stopping by ~

What a fun place to look for shadows and you found nice crisp ones. The window is my favorite, I just love those zigzags!

Who would think that such man-made items could have such artistic style? Metal items like the buggy, bucket and valve could have such beauty, and all look even better as shadows? My favorite is the 'V' shadows on the cabin's curtains. What a great park in the desert - all the items show that life once was possible in the desert. Excellent captures!

Great group of shadows.

What a beautiful collection of rustic shadows. My faves would be light above the old door and the window shot, the place looks a bit haunted.

Martha, thank you for the comment about the geese! I came here, and found that I love your photos! I would say this one is my favourite, and scroll down, and by George, there would be another to rival it! I have decided that I am simply going to have to come back!
