A Spring in Yosemite

My dad loved this perennial spring near Happy Isles in Yosemite.  He would always stop and scoop a drink.  Not a good idea today as even these seemingly pristine waters can carry a nasty intestinal bug.

You can find more water sights at Water Wednesday hosted for us by 2sweetnsaxy.

Lovely little spring! I don't remember it -- must go back.

Looks like a beautiful resting spot. I see why your Dad favored it. Great shot!

These little watery places have such a lovely sound as you walk by on the trails. I like the left over fall leaves still lingering there. Ahhh...Yosemite! Can never get enough of that amazing place.

What a wonderful time it must have been, when people were still able to drink from natures spring.

A nice Thursday for you all.

Martha, I enlarged the photo and the movement and colors are just great! You're right though about the possible contamination. Are you going to the cabin this weekend? We're in Tucson, heading for Sedona tomorrow.

What a beautiful Spring and I would so chance a refreshing taste of that water.

How sad today that we have ruined the environments we knew as children and were not afraid to drink the water.
