To Little Time in My World

I seem to have too little time or too many projects.  With summer coming I have been trying to get the new parts of the garden on autopilot with new drip emitters.  Do you remember what it looked like last year?  Click here for a reminder.  I used divisions from plants elsewhere in the garden for much of the new plantings.  It will take a while to fill out.

I’ve also got the guest room half painted and soft cornices made for our bedroom.  That leaves three more rooms waiting for window treatments.  Seeing what the rest of you accomplish has spurred me to action.

It’s almost time to open the cabin for the summer and the Roadtrek thinks we need to do some more camping, it’s feeling neglected, and I’m having trouble finding time for exercise, that’s not good.

I just don’t seem to find time for it all.  Maybe I should give up sleeping.

There's never enough time for those who enjoy God's world and being out in it. Good luck with all your plans and don't give up sleeping! You need that for when you are driving especially! Besides, then you would be too tired to enjoy the beauty around us so why bother camping and traveling? Not a good plan to give up sleep.

I remember all the work you did on the garden last year,Martha. I like the dry stream beds and raised gardens. I was working in my tiny Denver garden yesterday. (Bob has a blister from digging for me!) Don't give up sleep or exercise - they're too important for health! See you soon.

Oh Martha! You make me feel so lazy and useless. Don't give up on sleep. Or on sharing your beautiful pictures. Your garden is great as it is -- just enjoy it and don't worry too much.

Your garden is shaping up nicely since you removed the lawn and I like your flowing stonework. I also enjoy dividing the plants that do well in my yard. This time of year there is so much to do in the garden, and I work so slowly, that it doesn't occur to me get involved with other projects. :)

Your garden has become a wonderful outdoor room. You must be sure to spend some time living in it!
I know what you mean about too little time. I think everything just takes me longer to do anymore.

I need a solid week 24/7 with no responsibilities, no meals to cook or clean up after, and no scheduled activites to even get started.

And, oh, some spare energy.

Your garden is wonderful. I have to try daily to find enough time to do what I need and want to do. So far, I'm doing okay but have to plan in advance.
