Whale Sighting--Watery Wednesday

We're back from Alaska.  It was a short trip to see Kenai Fjords and Denali.  Now I have hundreds of photos to sift through to find you the best and some of the not so great that will tell the story.
For "Watery Wednesday" I pulled out this, my best whale shot but not my most interesting.  The really neat ones will come later.
See more watery sights at Watery Wednesday, hosted for us by 2sweetnsaxy.

Great whale tail! I have seen the humpbacks off the MA coast and it was thrilling!

Good! I hope you have lots more whale photos! This one is great! I love the clarity, and there is a sense of drama here! Can I get away with saying that it is just a fluke?

How wonderful to be able to see the whales. We visited Hawaii a couple months too late to see them there.
