We have had our first rain of the season here in the Sacramento Valley.  Some got a lot, some got little, at our house we received 3/4".  We hope that it is just the beginning of lots more to come.

Perhaps this sunset rainbow is a good omen.

In addition to the rain we were treated to a spectacular sunset.

Find more views of the sky at SkyWatch Friday.

I didn't realize things had been so dry. We had a long term drought a few years ago that was kind of bad. When normal weather came back it seemed so luxurious.
Your photos are awesome!!
Glad to see you back blogging. Instagram and other platforms I think are kind of drying up blogging.

Beautiful photos! Yes, we got just a bit here in the south, and very spotty. We got about 1/2", and my son (20 minutes away) didn't get any rain! Fingers crossed for a wet season.
