Mid-morning Moon

Walking through the campground I looked up and saw this gibbous moon, framed by several trees.

See more views of skies around the world at SkyWatch Friday, hosted for us by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia.

I wish I knew more about the moon and when to call it gibbous... Lovely blue sky shot.

It's as if all the trees are pointing it out!

We've had some great mid morning moons but try as I might I couldn't image it like you did. Great shot.

There's something magical about seeing the moon in daylight.

Martha, that is gorgeous. I love seeing the mid day moon sometimes even more so over the evening moon. Great photo.

Isn't it supposed to be good luck to see both moon and sun at once ;>)?.... glad you had your camera with you!
