I grow a lot of iris in my garden. They are very forgiving of my neglect and bloom during the months when I tend to be home.

I have a lot of tall bearded iris.

When they are done the Siberian and Louisiana iris bloom.

Last to bloom are the Japanese iris.

The last of these are beginning to fade.

Next will be the lilies and
daylilies, they also thrive
in spite of me.

You have many colors that I don't. I used to have some pink ones, but now only yellow, purple, and what I call ice blue.
We don't have enough sun in our shady yard to do iris properly. The few that I have need to be propped up. But I do love them. What a wonderful collection you have!
Beautiful collages and photos Martha!!!
Wow, beautiful photos of the irises. I'm always impressed by people who know all the names of all the flowers.
The delicate scent of irises makes me feel nostalgic. Such beautiful shapes and colors, I love all of your images.
Beautiful Iris, Martha - so many varieties and colors. I have none here at altitude, so I enjoy seeing yours.
