Martha -- you alread know how much we love Joshua Tree and this desert area in CA. Beautiful pictures; thanks for sharing. I was sad that we didn't get to see the desert bloom this time through; the ocotillia looks like it is about to burst out any minute.
Absolutely gorgeous!! Fantastic shots, Martha! And such vivid blue skies!! Isn't it wonderful to see them -- well, you've probably had considerably more than we have here, but we do have them today and it is wonderful! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Those deep blue skies almost make me homesick. Must have had some rain for the ocotillo to bloom. Love Joshua Tree and Anza-Berego.
How delightful to see the white desert flowers! Great blue sky on your trip!
Great photos, Martha...stunning images against that sky...
I do love a beautiful desert sky :^)
Wow, delightful blooming things reaching for the sky and I love the Haiku. :)

Beautiful skies! This is the first time I've seen a Joshua Tree close up... very intriguing.

Amazing and beautiful Martha. Looks like they are praising heaven.
Have a great weekend.
the sky is so blue! and i love the lighting on the second photo!
Your sky is so blue and the plant looks so in need of a good downpour of rain which is not going to happen soon. Nice shots.
the second one with the closeup is a great compositon with the "thing" in one corner

Just lovely Martha...that feeling of reaching and opening is the essence of early spring for me.
Your haiku and photos are all spectacular.
