Morning has broken

Words from poem By Eleanor Farjeon.   When I took this photo at sunrise one day, all I could think of was the hymn in my UU hymnal.  I’ve been trying to get the blackbirds to cooperate ever since.

See more skies at Skywatch Friday, hosted for us each week by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia.

I'm singing that song!
A line from the second stanza fits us this morning:
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden.

This may be the first time in the history of birding that any bird has ever cooperated. With anything.

Love that poem, too, though I know it more as the Cat Stevens song. It's wonderful how well it fits your photos.

With your morning being probably midday over here, one would love to understand the relativity of time and turn it back to feel those amazing pictures self.

Please have you all a wonderful Friday.

I love that song. First heard Cat Stevens sing it in 1976 in Canada. So Stevens just sang some one's poem.
