Crisp Shadows, Blue Sky, Green Hills

Shadow Shot Sunday
We had some sunny days this week. Sunshine means shadows and a chance to get back on the bikes.
We managed to get in three rides last week. Nice conditioning rides of about 12 miles. We didn't want to over do it as the two months of cold and fog had gotten us out of biking condition.
Our rides took us beyond the trails in Sun City to a trail past emerald hills where the still naked oaks cast their long winter shadows.

You can see more shadows at Hey Harriet, hosted for us each week by Tracy.

Beautiful shadow shots both. That landscape looks like paradise after the long winter.
How I envy you for that bike tour in beautiful sunshine, we have rain for days.

Very nice Shadow Shots. I'm still trying to get over a 12 mile "fun" ride. Yikes!!

Oh, Martha! I'm jealous - of your bike rides and your mild weather. i haven't been on the bike for months. We are busy planning the CA trip - hope I'm cleared to ride by then.

Absolutely perfect! What a gorgeous place and incredible shadows for the perfect shadow shot! Love those bare trees against the green! And such sharp clear shadows in the first shot! Looks like such a perfect day! Hope your weekend is going the same -- perfect!

I like the spokes, as they leave such a delicate webbed shadow. Your destination is absolutely beautiful, the hills, trees and shadows leave a view to savor!

What a joy to see two wheels and the ability to make them used. Even though many children do learn how to ride a bike, rarely one sees them over here.
The air in the second picture must have been amazing to breath...
A wonderful Sunday for you all.

Your bicycle shadows are wonderful!!! Glad you've been able to get out and ride. It rained all day here in Southern California today.

What fun! I need to get back into the swing of bike riding. 12 miles is quite an impressive distance in my books! Those bike shadows are very cool!

12 miles, this is incredible. I learned how to bike when I was younger. Maybe I should re train myself (hehehehe, and start with training wheels).

We have heavy rains today.

Another few weeks and it will be warm enough for my wife and I to start riding again.

Oh I'm jealous. The weather over here is no where near good biking conditions.
