I hope you have enjoyed these views of the outdoor Getty. Inside there is great variety. We visited two of the special exhibits where photography was not allowed and a few rooms of the permanent collection where it is but I didn't take an pictures.
There is always something new and if you are in Los Angeles it is well worth a visit. Parking is $15 but entrance to the museum itself is free. A visit to their website will help you make the most of a visit. There is a nice food court (not cheap but good) so it is easy to spend the whole day.
Lots more shadows can be found at Hey Harriet, hosted for us by Tracy.

I enjoyed all of your Getty posts. I haven't made it to California, but the Getty is one of the places I would like to see if I do get out there. Thanks for your beautiful pictures from there.
Thanks, too, for visiting my site.
Love the shadows, especially the first shot. The vines are cool and those statues are awesome. Thanks for sharing as I don't see myself getting to LA soon.
This place does offer some unique shadows...The umbrellas have created perfect likenesses!
I really like the vines and can imagine how colorful they will be in weeks to come. Nice shadow post!
{Luv} the lines and rhythm from the shadows.
Great post!
Great shadow shots! Enjoy your Sunday!
Great shadows, love the shapes of the umbrella shadows
Great shadow shots, indeed. I'd love to visit this museum one day.

The umbrellas appear as perfectly shaped octagons, and quite artistic. I also like the rock spillway, the shadows from above looking the same as if they were growing on the rocks, too. What an artistic place, to visit if I evr get to the West Coast...
I particularly like that last shot, very stylish sculptures and shadows
Cool shadow shots! The diminishing size of the umbrella shadows makes the first image look so deep.
Wonderful shadow shots, Martha! I love the arbor with the climbing vines.
Hey, nice contrasting images of lights and shadows.... :-)
Pixellicious Photos
Interesting collection of shadows. I like the last one with the sculptures.
Hellou! Wery interesting photos! I love art:-)
What great shadow shots. I especially like the shadows on the water way.
These shots are beyond wonderful! I love museums and I've never been to the Getty. Thanks for a great series from there!
