So far all is well with the little bluebirds.
In here, Dad.
Make sure it goes all the way down,
Come back soon.
The goldfinch watches from the crepe myrtle.

How cute!!! What great photos Martha!! You are so lucky to be able to see them like that. Beautiful shot of the Goldfinch too!! Mine have never come back. Guess they were just on their way to their feeding area. And thanks for stopping by my blog! Yes, I sure do see a lot from my window... I'm always waiting for something new to appear..Ha! Have a great day!!

Aw, so sweet! Looks like the young ones make it easy for the dad by sticking their open mouths out the box opening.

Hi Martha - your nest sunscreen must be working! The pic of the bluebird flying away with the little one's mouth still open is priceless.

Cool! We don't have blue birds here, just very blue blue jays. I saw gold finch flitting around on Whidbey.
Beautiful.

Love these pictures. I have one nesting pair at this time. I'd love to see the entire nest box covering. It looks interesting. Thanks for visiting "SWF".

Nice bluebird pics, and thanks for putting up a box! Nesting sites really seem to be the limiting factor.
