Nature seems to be trying to make up for our unusually warm dry winter with an unusually cool wet spring. Most of the precipitation is in the northern part of California but this current series of storms should make it to the south. Not enough but we are grateful for whatever we get.
Find more beautiful skies at SkyWatch, Friday, hosted for us by Sylvia and Sandy.

The dogwood is gorgeous. May we get some rain.
Oh, the contrast between those grumpy gray skies and the breathtaking beauty of the dogwood makes for a gorgeous capture, Martha! Hope you've had a good week!

That dogwood looks good!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Wonderful contrast between the white of the dogwood tree and the looming dark clouds! Beautiful scene!
That is impressive!

The white blooms are coming out luscious against the bluegray sky!
Great photo, Martha. Love the dramatic sky and the white flowering tree just lights up the scene. Very pretty.
Very dramatic!
Captured beautifully!
Sunrise, please come and see when you get a chance. Have a great weekend!
A very effective shot!
Even your stormy skies are beautiful! I love dogwood and hope there are still some in bloom when we get back to Oregon (in June).
I recognize those skies! Ours seems to promise rain - but then default. I bought a small pagoda dogwood, but alas, the deer seem to be getting more out of it than me.
Great photo with sunshine on the dogwood blossoms and the dark sky in the background. I love the contrast.
Martha, this is just gorgeous!
Had to come back and look at this photo again, then I just had to tell you that I love it!
Very pretty. Mickie ;)
