Super Moon

I found a new (new to me)  photography app called Photopills.  Strange name but it is a great help for planning shots of the sun, moon or milky way.  I tried it out with the recent Super Moon.

It definitely helped me to plan my shot of the moon, the hawk was all luck.  I look forward to using it in the future.  Unfortunately there is only one full moon a month and there is too much light here to shoot the milky way or star trails.

Find more shots of the sky at Skywatch, Friday.

Great shot. I have got to where I can take a shot of the moon all by itself and now I want to get shots of the moon with something else, such as what you did and I think that is a lot harder.
I've looked at photopills and it seems to work fine. For the type of shots that I want to do it may be a necessary purchase.

You mean to say that you captured this wonderful shot on a mobile phone? I must try this app too. Thanks for telling me about it.

I have never heard of a photo pill. I have no luck with photographing the moon with my iPhone SE. I love what you were able to do. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
