These aren't spectacular but this view of Mono Lake from Dunderberg Meadows is OK, I think.
And the view in the other direction was even nicer.

Its a beautiful scenic spot. I fell in love the first time I saw Mono Lake!
I do spell check before I post but sometimes our thoughts and ideas run faster than we write. Hehehe!
P.S. We might defer traveling to the Eastern Sierras, some things came up. But I really want to go back!

You know the problem with that part of the state? It's too beautiful in person that no matter how gorgeous our shots are we think it's just so-so because we remember how totally awesome the sights are in person.

We too have beautiful views from our mountains here in NC and I never cease to be amazed at what Creator has given us to admire.

These are meautiful shots, Martha. There is a very still, meditative quality about them, and the light is lovely. I especially love the second shot with all its layers of interest.

These are all nice pictures but when enlarged they are great, especially the middle one.
The enlargements are far more stunning! Those are gorgeous...I especially like the middle one with the wooden fence. Beautiful!
