Autumn on Bishop Creek

The last week in September we camped on the south fork of Bishop Creek.

There was some nice fall color this year.
Yellow predominates in aspens but there was some orange as well.

This little pond is just below South Lake. South Lake trail leads to Long Lake and Bishop Pass. A wonderful hike that I will show on a later post.

Hello Martha
That water looked cold lol
I liked the reflections and the yellow colours in the trees and I take it the foliage will become more 'red' as the month goes by?

Take care
Cathy

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Autumn views of an area I've only visited in Spring and Summer. it's finally raining where I live in Southern California at the beach and I'm waiting for it to get light enough to capture photos to share at Happily Retired Gal as a follow up to the My World post there later today ... but I've shared outdoor watery views of the Lake Arrowhead area taken earlier this month at Sacred Ruminations.
Hugs and blessings,

Gorgeous landscape, and the first one is absolutely stunning! I like how you've perfectly captured the leaf color in the water in all three shots. And oh, that water looks COLD!
