I like to get out for a walk, to get in touch with earth and sky.
On this afternoon it was the sky that drew my attention.
It was so beautiful, the clouds looked soft, like down or the fur of a white kitten. I wished I could reach up and stroke it. Find more skies here.

Interesting because the lower sky doesn't seem soft to me - it makes my skin tingle with its drama. Maybe it's because we are viewing it through different screens.

Beautiful skies and clouds! I love those big puffy ones. I always find it interesting as I read peoples comments from blog to blog how differently we frequently see the same picture. One more way that we're all different, I guess.

We saw interesting skies all week where I live until the Santa Ana winds blew them all out to sea.

Martha, these sky/cloud shots remind me of one I am using just now as my screen saver! They are very calming and dreamy. I love your new header - great fall colors with a hint of winter in the background. Went xskiing this afternoon for 1st time this season - hope you can get out into the Sierras this winter, too. It was fun!

I've been meaning to walk. I need to walk. But it has been sooooooo cold. I think the problem is it got cold suddenly and not gradually. The thought of snowshoeing this wnter is not appealing to me at all.

Class B's are nice we had a 23 ft motor home that actually had more storage in it than this 30 ft. But when we travel we take all of of cats with us so we had to get a bigger motor home
