It rained every day we were at North Cascades National Park. You know what they say "when life gives you rain make macro photos of the drops" or something like that. I was delighted to see the pine needles reflected in the drops when I downloaded this. I hadn't noticed it when taking the picture.

Very nice! I like photos like those.
It's so beautifully captured!
Amazing!
Wonderful pics. Wish that rain had made it over the mountains.
Lovely photos with the water almost falling of. Love the way water makes nature look so different
These are really lovely.
Excellent shots!
I especially love the glistening diamonds on the end of the pine needles. :)

Ooooo just stunning!! Sarah
Lovely photos ;--)
The only way I capture drops is after WATERING since rain hasn't happened around here in a LONG time! I don't know why your blog won't accept my WordPress ID, but that's where I posted MY macro photos today - Happily Retired Gal.
Hugs and blessings,
Hi Martha,
You make me want to try my hand at macro. Do you use a special macro lens or just the macro setting on your camera? I bought a "magnifier" in the spring but haven't taken time to use it. So windy here that the "subject" moves too much.
Great shots! Love the huckleberry, the red is so vibrant.
Barb,
For these I used a macro lens and I found it necessary to use a tripod as well. The macro lens needs perfect focus and I found I could not hand hold. This lens can put an immage on the sensor that is 1/2 the size of the subject. I couldn't bring myself to buy the 1:1.
It's great for portraits, too.
Ooooo, like diamonds. :) Beautiful and shiny!
