This is my last post for a while. We've been too long away from the cabin and it is time to go back. October will soon be here and then we will have to close it up until spring. I'll be back in a couple of weeks.For more watery sites and sights, click here.

I know what you mean about the weather tho -- finally after 12 days of 90 and 100 plus weather, it is cooler -- high 80's!!!!!!!!! I can finally go hiking in the city again.

Thank you for your nice comment about fathers and sons working together. It took a long time for father to realise that criticism does neither get you very far nor a willing helper. Now the boot is on the other foot, it is son who does the felling and dad who helps!
Enjoy your cabin, I cannot think of anything nicer than being far away from the madding crouwd. We'll still be here to welcome you back.
