I know, no big deal for most of you, but I live near Sacramento, California at an elevation of only 300'. This solid form of water is a once a decade event. I was not the only one out with a camera this morning. While most people enjoyed it the cold temps in the 20's were not welcome to the farmers in this citrus growing area.

Nice post. Should I head for the store for some citrus fruit before prices go up LOL
Lovely photo! When we lived in San Diego many years ago we had snow flakes. Couldn't believe it. It caused quite a stir as I remember all the neighbors coming out for the event. It didn't hang around but it was lovely for a while.
I guess it is unusual for where you live. The world has gone topsy turvy lately, hasn't it?
Nuts in May
Wow ... wintry white stuph! How kewl ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

Same goes for Athens, Greece where children to wait for snow, as the schools would close for that day, yet this year there aren't many days left.
A wonderful Wednesday for you all.
thank you for posting this. i snapped at my white backyard this morning but i had to run to work so i couldn't post.
isn't it neat that we have a semblance of "real" winter here in norcal?
OMG, you got snow too. A very unusual happening there. Hope it melts away soon, and mine too.
I have yet to experience snow in my front yard!
What a surprise I bet! It's about as uncommon as seeing the snow on cactus here in Mesa, AZ, although they snow up in Flagstaff. It's dropping down to 38 degrees tonight, though!
Great shot!
We have rainy and snowy days
Oh nice snow we have snow today. Happy watery Wednesday.
mine is here
I hope that you enjoy it. I lived in Houston for several years. One year it snowed. You'd have thought the inch was a blizzard.
hope to feel the snow again. nice shot for Watery Wednesday!
Oh - Martha - this looks more like my world!
It's fun to get a bit of snow, isn't it? We got a dusting on the hills here in Contra Costa County. Looks like rain is on the way. Thanks for stopping by!
