Autumn Sky in Yosemite

The Summer fires that made the air so toxic that much of Yosemite was closed for a few weeks are now gone.  Blue skies and a few high thin clouds greeted us on our recent visit.

Clear blue sky at the Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias.

The sun shining clear and bright in the valley.

Now this is a fine threesome! I imagine you must have had to stand in the stream to get that first image [that's dedication]. That is one heckuva sun burst [14 points]; don't know if I've seen one that large...

All three photos are beauties! I especially like the moon capture between the trees.

I love your blue skies and fall color, and your great shot with the moon, and the sun star.

Magnificent photos! I have never gotten to Yosemite but maybe some day... Thinking of California suffering with the latest round of wild fires. Our only agony here is how badly our County (Broward) handled the election results!
